2016 is nearing its end and a lot of fans are wondering if Eminem is still planning to release an album this year after being MIA for almost 3 years.
Although the rap god has been seen in the spotlight again, he remains mum about any details regarding his 2016 album release. Sources claim that there's a huge possibility that the rapper wouldn't be able to release anything this year because he is currently busy with his new founded shoe business, and is quite distracted by it.
Ecumenical News reported that Eminem's former bodyguard Byron "Big Naz" Williams stated that Eminem hasn't released any statement because he is currently filming a movie. Williams claimed that the rapper would star in a movie that would be adapted from the book that he released, titled "Shady Bizzness: Life as Marshall Mathers' Bodyguard in an Industry of Paper Gangsters."
William released the said book back in 2000, and now that it's been 16 years since it went out, Big Naz claims that Eminem agreed to put it out on the big screen. Although, like the rapper's album release, Eminem hasn't confirmed if he's going to star on any film or if Williams' book would even be in production.
Not a lot of updates about Slim Shady's album release is circling around, but a lot of people are speculating that the rapper might be in the middle of a financial crisis - a reason why his name from Forbes list was removed and same reason why no album is still being made. Other rumors suggest that Eminem is not inspired enough to create an album this year, and the rap god might be dethroned from his GOAT status.
Vine Report also stated that Eminem's recent feud with Canadian rapper Drake might have caused the delay of his album release.
Although Drake recently waved the white flag, Eminem still remains silent whether his currently making anything that fans could look forward to.
Because of the news scarcity, fans are starting to feel like nothing's really going to happen this year, although some of them are still hoping that the rap god would surprise them with an album - just like when he surprised Drake's Detroit fans when he rose from the stage.
