Steve Jobs, the late Apple Inc.'s CEO, could have been 60 years old today. Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, took his time to honor the late CEO and his Co-founder. Cook sent out a twitter message saying that he remembers Jobs who would have turned 60 today, saying that the only way to do great work is love what you do.
"Remembering Steve, who would have turned 60 today," Cook tweeted, quoting Jobs: "The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
Cook's tweet quoted Jobs' message at his Stanford University commencement address. He also mentioned on his previous year's sentiment that to honor Jobs is to pursue the work that he love so much, according to PC Mag.
Jobs, Apple Inc's co-founder died in October 2011 due to pancreatic cancer complications. He was 56 years old, and he passed away just after the iPhone 4S was unveiled by Cupertino. Jobs gave over the control of the iPhone company to Cook, previously was Apple's Chief Operating Officer, in August 2011.
Jobs was able to acquire his personal fortune of around $8.2 billion inspired an action figure, fake blog persona, and a number of parodies which featured many admirers dressing up with his trademark black-turtleneck-and-jeans uniform.
Jobs' successor Cook joined Apple company in 1998, and had to take over the CEO spot as Jobs started to get sick and stepped down from the position.
With Cooks' leadership and supervision, the tech giant has more than doubled its assets now reaching over $750 billion, Time reported.
