Apple's iPad Air 3, which is one of the most anticipated products from the company this year aside from the upcoming iPhone 7, might possibly be delayed for its release after Apple surprisingly unveiled its new line of tablets called the iPad Pro.
As per tradition, Apple has its routine of releasing one iPad in a single year. This is why there could be no room for iPad Air this year because the company's products might overlap with each other and their target markets; hence, there is a possible adjustment for a March 2017 release instead of the speculated November 2016 release date, according to PC Advisor.
Furthermore, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro was just released in March, which slims down the possibility of an iPad Air 3 launching in 2016.
Before its slated release, iPad Air 3 is rumored to exhibit a harder aluminum material, which could lead to an even thinner design. The device could also sport the new True Tone equipped display panel identical to the iPad Pro 9.7.
Moreover, the iPad Air tablet is expected to consist of the upcoming A10 chipset. While its storage capacity is concerned, the new iPad Air 3 is expected to be made available in three variants of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
Rumor has it that the forthcoming tablet will also feature the iOS 10, giving owners an improved user interface. In addition, some reports suggest that the Apple iPad Air 3 will include the iPad Pro's stereo speakers for enhanced audio quality.
Apple Inc. will make the iPad Air 3 available at a price tag of $599, should it run the True Tone display. On the other hand, if the device does not feature the display specs, it is expected to be priced in the range $499 to $549.
However, there is no official confirmation from Apple about the release date, specifications, or price of the iPad Air 3, so people should wait for more leaks that will surface as its announcement comes near.
