The latest details for "Injustice 2" will feature new DC characters joining the roster and a possible March 2017 launch date in the PlayStation 4.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding new DC characters that are likely to join the roster of "Injustice 2". The have been eleven characters in "Injustice 2", which consist of returning characters like Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and The Flash, as well as new faces such as Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd and Deadshot.
Now gaming and comic book fans wanted to see more of there DC heroes and villains in "Injustice 2" as they want see characters like Beast Boy, Starfire, Red Hood, King Shark, Darkseid, Captain Boomerang, John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Jonah Hex and Rorschach, Gamerant reported.
Both Starfire and Red Hood have been already been hinted to join "Injustice 2's" growing roster due to "Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon tweeting polls from his Twitter page asking fans who they want add in the sequel. Fans voted 81 percent of the vote for Jason Todd to added, Star Fire received 43 percent of the vote from a seperate poll beating John Constantine and Black Manta.
In other news, it seems that the possible release date for "Injustice 2" for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles have been revealed.
French video game website Gameblog, "Injustice 2" could launch on March 2017 in all gaming platforms. Although the placeholder could be a subject of change in the website since NetherRealm has not yet announced an official release date for the sequel.
In addition, Boon teased the possibility of a PC version for "Injustice 2" during the San Diego Comic con event. However, there is no telling as to when will it will be released, either alongside the console versions or on a later date.
"Injustice 2" will feature several DC characters fighting each other using their abilities and powers. Player's can earn several armor loots after each battle whether they win or lose. Each armor set can enhance a character's abilities or unlock new ones.
The plot of "Injustice 2" will take place after the first game as Batman tries to rebuild the world after Superman's One Earth Regime,while at the same time stopping the Man of Steel's loyalist in breaking him out of his Red Sun prison, unaware that an even greater threat is coming to earth.
"Injustice 2" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
