According to The Fan Boy, EA made a confirmation on the official Battlefield Twitter account that BF1 beta update is available starting Sept. 5. This will see gamers manage to download BF1 beta update on their gaming console as promised.

"It is time to go boots on the surface at the wake of all-out war. The "Battlefield 1" Open Beta is now available for PlayStation 4, Origin for PC and Xbox One," Battlefield said.

The beta for "BF1" has been online since end of August this year and it features several new modes: Rush and Conquest, specifically on the Sinai Desert map. The map has Armored Train behemoth, ridable horses and new Elite Classes: Sentry, Flame Trooper and Tank Hunter. In addition, EA DICE says the map is playable by up to 64 players, First Post reported.

The beta rollout was however, not smooth as expected by the developers, this prompted the release of an update for the beta. Gamers who tried to download the beta were disappointed as it resulted in server connection issues.

In recent twitter post by EA, the servers were said to be down for only 15 minutes which is not such a long time.

A user complained on Reddit that he just downloaded the open beta on PS4. Everything went great. "But its like I'm having trouble while connecting to the servers. Is anyone else having problems with this?" asked the player.

The connection problems were also experienced on other platforms apart from PS4.

"Just tried restarting Origin and relaunch the game, it did not help. It still says that I cannot get access to EA servers," another "BF1" gamer complained.

Fortunately, EA was aware of the connection errors faced by gamers who tried to download "BF1" beta and confirmed they were solving the issue.

Gamers are hopeful that the latest BF1 beta update will fix all the issues.
