Gong recounted the positive filming atmosphere that he and his former "Coffee Prince" co-stars experienced on the set of the MBC drama. The "Train to Busan" actor recalled how the series' cast and crew members would be very supportive of each other. "No one was selfish, and it was a set where we all had fun," he said.

He also conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for having experienced the said positive working environment with "Coffee Prince." Gong added that he would like to feel the same kind of camaraderie and work atmosphere on the set of "Goblin."

The upcoming tvN drama tells the story of a goblin and a grim reaper who suffers from amnesia. Gong will portray the role of the goblin while "My Girl" actor Lee Dong Wook will play the grim reaper. The two South Korean actors will be joined by "Cheese in the Trap" star Kim Go Eun and "Queen In Hyun's Man" actress Yoo In Na.

Apart from the table reading session, the tvN drama's cast members and crew members have concluded its test filming activities, allkpop reported. It appears that the pre-production work and preparations for "Goblin" have been progressing at a good pace. The drama will mark another collaboration project of the "Descendants of the Sun" PD and writer tandem Lee Eung Bok and Kim Eun Sook.

The upcoming series is expected to start its official filming activities on Thursday, Sept. 8. Avid fans can look forward to another fantasy romance series that features some comedic elements when "Goblin" airs in December on tvN.
