Fox's contentious show, "Lucifer," is back amid a petition from a TV watchdog group to have the series cancelled. A new teaser titled "Even Lucifer Prays" is out, showing "The Devil" praying to God.

At the end of "Lucifer" Season 1, Lucifer woke up in hell and the gates of Hell opened, allowing someone to escape, according to Comic Book. In the final episode of Season 1, Lucifer told Amenadiel that he reached a consensus with his father to work for him in exchange for the protection of Chloe. The first task was for him to capture their mother, who had broken the gate of Hell to escape.

Reports suggest that Lucifer will be drawn to a new character called Ella Lopez, played by Aimee Garcia. Ella is a forensic scientist with contradictory personalities that will intrigue Lucifer.

On the other hand, Battlestar Galastica's Tricia Helfer will be another inclusion to the cast. Tricia will play Lucifer's mother who was imprisoned for many years in Hell by her ex-husband, God.

In an interview with TVLine, Galactica said, "very quickly once you meet her, you realize what she's about and who she is. So we're not going to leave people guessing. There's been enough of that with the concern that she's escaped from Hell."

Something to watch out is whether Lucifer will be a good person in Season 2 and whatever that will happen to the wingless Maze. The second installment might give the characters an opportunity to reevaluate who they really are.
