With the much awaited "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, all set for return on Sept. 22, ABC has teased the fans with the promo for the premiere episode "Undo," and exclusive first look images of the show, that hints at possible legal trouble for Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).
It seems like when the "Grey's Anatomy" returns for Season 13, Alex will be suffering both professionally as well as personally for pummeling Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) within an inch of his life in the Season 12 finale.
The promo shows Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) questioning Alex, just as he nurses his bloody knuckles, saying “You think nobody’s going to realize this is you?” and “You could go to jail!,” as reported by TV Line.
Throughout the 15-second video, Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington), who is the cause for Alex's actions, as he believed the intern DeLuca was making move on her, is nowhere to be seen. The promo also hints at legal trouble for Alex with all the questions.
Alex's actions is most likely reverberating through the hospital, as revealed by the exclusive first look pictures, shared by Entertainment Weekly.
In other news, creator Shonda Rhimes has revealed that the upcoming season will see the first-time parents - April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) exploring what it means “to be uncoupled, to be divorced, and to have a kid,” in a lighter and healthy way. However she teased stating if that healthy way will feel so healthy when they still both feel for each other.
Last Spring, Williams has also hinted at a possible reunion for Japril, especially after April giving birth to a bundle of joy. This led to speculations of conflict between April and Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) as the latter has likely lost whatever leverage she had.
As for other details about the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13's first episode "Undo" the synopsis suggests that trouble for Meredith, mostly in her relationships with Alex and Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), due to her secrets. This certainly implies at possible problems between the sisters, if Maggie finally finds out about Meredith and Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) relationship. Even Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) previously noted that the said relationship will play a bigger part in Meredith's relationship with Maggie, and teased that the sisters could potentially be at loggerheads.
