Brad Pitt has reportedly traveled to Croatia last week in the middle of divorce rumors with his wife Angelina Jolie. Reports indicate that Pitt is planning to open a luxury resort along the coast.
In a recent news by People Magazine, Brad Pitt will now don another hat after being an actor and a producer, this time of a hotelier. In a short trip to Croatia, Pitt reportedly surveyed the billion-dollar real estate on Adriatic coast.
Within minutes of reaching the Zadar airport, the actor took a small boat along the coast of Sibenik and Biograd to invest in a luxury $1.5 billion project. Pitt visited the proposed site of the project, Zablace, where the existing marina is being planned to transform into a luxury hotel. Not only will it also contain shops and villas, the site will also make provision for schools, clinics and a settlement of 2,500 people as a self-sustainable ecological community.
Accompanying Pitt on this project site was Nikola Bašić, an architect from Croatia who has built many noteworthy structures throughout the country, as reported by The Telegraph.
Before left Los Angeles, Jolie and Pitt celebrated their second wedding anniversary that didn't go so well, reportedly. The couple got married on August 23, 2014 in presence of their six children, three adopted and three biological children of their own.
There were many rumors about the alleged argument between Jolie and Pitt on the day of their anniversary due to Pitt's link-up with Marion Cottilard and his rumored attempt to connect with ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. However, as Jolie lost her temper with Pitt, the latter decided to leave, says the rumors. Now Jolie is desperately trying to save their marriage as Pitt keeps himself busy with new business ventures, such as one in Croatia.
There also reports that the couple is doing their best to work hard and avoid being divorced, despite rumors that "the passion in their sex lives has long evaporated." However, many publications debunk the rumors and suggest that Jolie and Pitt's marriage is no need for a spark and they are not trying desperately save their marriage either.
