New "Batman: Return to Arkham" details will feature a new trailer and release date for the game, as well as gameplay commentary for "Batman: Arkham VR".
Rocksteady Studios streamed a new game trailer for "Batman: Return to Arkham" as the video will feature the graphical comparison of the original games to the HD remastered versions in the PlayStation 4 console. "Batman: Return to Arkham" provide the titles with a major increase in terms of their lighting, shadows, texture resolution, color saturation, and overall asset quality, VG 24/7 reported.
However, despite the improved visuals and graphics, many gamers believed that HD remastered versions of "Batman: Arkam Asylum" and "Arkham City" are not necessary. But, gamers who have only owned a PS4, Xbox One or both and have never played them could enjoy the past "Batman: Arkham" titles, giving them a new experience.
As for the release date, it was previously hinted that "Batman: Return to Arkham" could launch on November due to Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. announcing its delay. Virtous Studios is responsible for the game's HD version stated that it suffered some frame-rate drop issues when being port to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
However, the trailer revealed that "Batman: Return to Arkham" will be officially available on Oct. 18 for the fourth generation consoles.
"Batman: Return to Arkham" will feature enhanced versions of two "Arkham" titles; "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City. Both games will feature all of its DLCs from side stories, to AR gameplay to several character costumes.
The technology used in developing "Batman: Return to Arkham" came from Virtuos Games Unreal Engine 4. Virtuos Games is responsible for the HD remasters of several games such as "Final Fantasy X|X-3 HD" and "Heavy Rain" PS4 remaster.
In other news, Rockteady Studios revealed new gameplay details for "Batman: Arham VR" as the video commentary sees player donning the cape and cowl of the Dark Knight himself.
In "Batman: Arkham VR" players will become Batman and will use all of of his arsenals such as batarangs, grappling hook, smoke pellets etc. The game is set in the same continuity as the "Batman: Arkham" games and will feature a brand new storyline along with familiar faces in the Batman mythos.
Gamers will have to solve mysteries using detective mode piece together the clues present in the crime scene, experiencing why Batman is the world's greatest detective, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
"Batman: Return to Arkham" will launch on Oct. 18 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
