MBC's fan-favourite series "W - Two Worlds" finale is expected to reveal the fate of leading characters in the real and manhwa world. The show starring Han Hye-joo (Oh Yeon-joo) and Lee Jong-suk (Kang Cheol) will end with episode 16 airing on Sept. 14, Wednesday. Here are some spoilers for the highly-anticipated segment. Read on to find out what happens next.

In the previous episode, Kang Cheol and Yeon-joo found out that they cannot leave until the "Final Episode" ends. Meanwhile, Assemblyman Han takes Kang Cheol hostage. As for dad, he uploads the new episode and confirms Yeon-joo is alive.
There was a huge time-jump and a full year has passed in the Manhwa world. Yeon-joo meets So-hee, who reveals what happened in the past one year. She revealed that Yeon-joo quit her job and Kang Cheol was arrested by police. Kang Cheol and Yeon-joo reunite after a year in the courthouse and he reveals to her that it is the final episode of "W." In the meantime, Dad punishes himself for doing all the wrong things to his daughter.
"W - Two Worlds" episode ended with a major cliffhanger. It showed professor turn on his computer to watch the final episode.
"W - Two Worlds" episode 16 will reveal how Yeon-joo and Kang Cheol's story will come to an end. The much-awaited finale will reveal whether the hero and the heroine will get a happy or sad ending.
While not many details are available, a promo video for "W - Two Worlds" teases the events of the finale. Yeon-joo decides that both her husband and father should be by her side at the end of it all. How she makes it possible remains to be seen.
Episode 16 promo video shows Yeon-joo and Kang Cheol driving away in the car when he tells her that he loves her. Meanwhile, the Assemblyman Han asks Kang Cheol if he is really living in two worlds and shoots him in the chest. Kang Cheol collapses on the floor and his fate remains uncertain.
Will Kang Cheol die or survive? Will Kang Cheol and Yeon-joo get a happy ending?
