Perennial contenders AC Milan (1-1-0, 3 points) will look to redeem themselves from their lackluster performance in the previous round of the 2016-2017 Serie A season as they square off with fellow middling squad Udinese Calcio (1-1-0, 3 points) on Sunday, Sep. 11 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro.

I Rossoneri began the season unsteadily in the midst of an ongoing ownership transfer, opening with a 3-2 home win over Torino then dropping a 2-4 game to Napoli on the road at the Stadio San Paolo on Aug. 27 before the international break, as per SB Nation.
Two Milan players were sent off during the game, namely Slovak midfielder Juraj Kucka and French winger M'Baye Niang at the 75th and 87th minutes respectively, as new head coach Vincenzo Montella's side endured a nine-man lineup in the closing minutes of the game.
Napoli started strong with two goals from striker Arkadiusz Milik at the 18th and 33rd minutes to go up 2-0 at the break.
The visitors were able to equalize after the restart with goals from Niang and Spanish forward Suso at the 51st and 55th, but two more goals from Jose Callejon at the 74th and in injury time swayed the game in favor of the hosts.
Meanwhile, Udinese lost its opener to Roma, 0-4, before pulling off a 2-0 victory over current bottom-dwellers Empoli at their home ground of Dacia Arena on Aug. 28, ESPN reported.
Brazilian center back Felipe broke the deadlock early at the third minute of the match while the second goal came very late in injury time with a right-footed shot from substitute forward Stipe Perica from the right side of the box off an assist from teammate Rodrigo de Paul.
Milan is projected to bounce back from their meltdown in the previous match week as they face a still inconsistent side of newly-hired head coach Giuseppe Iachini.
