It seems remote now that an iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak from Team Pangu or TaiG is coming out soon as a video hit the web and showcased an iOS 10 jailbreak in action. The latest work, however, looks incomplete for now with the creator not saying anything on his release date plans.

The YouTube clip (can be viewed below) showed off by iOS dev Luca Todesco demoed what appears as a jailbroken iOS 10 running on an iPad Pro. Todesco, according to Game 'N' Guide employed the yaluX method ion on the same jailbreak, which is an approach that technically will work on 64-bit iDevices.

In theory, the Todesco iOS jailbreak will work on Apple-made mobile devices that run on iOS 10, starting with the iPhone 5, for instance. However, the jailbreak maker has yet to show evidence of such possibility.

It should be noted too that the Todesco jailbreak is pretty much the same with the last jailbreak build from Pangu. It is semi-tethered and that means jailbreak fans will need the repeats the process of unlocking their device every restart.

And Todesco himself has stated that the jailbreak at this stage is far from stable. Cydia still crashes. The only clear achievement of the hacker, per Game 'N' Guide, is that he had overtaken the works so far completed by any other jailbreak providers - Pangu, TaiG or even iH8sn0w.

But in reality, an imminent release date remains out of sight - not from Todesco or any other players.

Along the same line, it seems far off that any of these devs will still work on an iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak as most likely Apple has already patched whatever exploits that remain in the OS. The next logical step then is to focus on iOS 10.

And there are two possible routes that Pangu can take in releasing the next jailbreak based on iOS 10. First is to work on the Gold Master or GM build of the software and deploy the modified version within September or October.

Or the devs (not limited to Pangu) can wait out the first iOS 10 update, work on that version instead to ensure of a longer lasting jailbreak. In the latter's case, an iOS 10 jailbreak release can only be expected between November and December 2016 - a bit of a stretch perhaps but should be worth the wait.
