Struggling teams FC Lorient (0-4-0, 0 points) and Lille OSC (1-3-0, 3 points) will try to get out of their respective ruts early in the 2016-2017 Ligue 1 season as they face each other at the Stade du Moustoir this Saturday, Sep. 17.

Lorient is currently at the very bottom of the 20-team French top flight table as they are still winless after four games in the term.
The team lost to Caen, Bastia, and Marseille in their first three games before succumbing to a 0-2 defeat to Nancy also at their home stadium of Stade du Moustoir last Saturday for their fourth consecutive loss, ESPN reported.
Nancy midfielder Youssef Aït Bennasser netted the game's opening goal at the 32nd minute and the lead was doubled with two minutes left before full time by forward Maurice Dale.
With the loss, Lorient still has no points in the overall standings at the moment as they also gave up a third straight shutout defeat. Clearly, head coach Sylvain Ripoll's boys are struggling both in the offensive and defensive ends of the pitch and would need to improve to avoid relegation to Ligue 2 next season.
Meanwhile, Lille is also struggling with a two-game winless slide. The team has only won once this term, a 1-0 home win over newly-promoted side Dijon during the second week of competitions.
Their last match ended in a 1-4 demolition in the hands of current league leaders Monaco right at their home ground of Stade Pierre-Mauroy also last Saturday, as per Yahoo Sports.
French defender Julian Palmieri was the only scorer for head coach Frédéric Antonetti's side and it came right at the 90th minute of the match when Monaco was already leading 4-0.
Djibril Sidibe, Adama Traore, Fabinho, and Kami Glik each scored a goal for Les Rouges et Blancs at the second, 17th, 47th, and 71st minutes respectively.
