While the release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" has not been confirmed yet, there had been predictions that a PC version of the game will be released. After the announcement that it will not be coming to Xbox One since it will be exclusive only to PlayStation, some speculates that Square Enix will be developing a PC version.
Several reports noted the sudden disappearance of the of "Kingdom Hearts 3" in Japan's Xbox Store listing. This came as a surprise for fans who had been regularly monitoring the RPG game. The reason behind the sudden "cancellation" is pointed out to the number of Xbox One units sold in the region which has been relatively low.
A tweet from KHInsider also confirmed rumors when it announced that the game is no longer listed on the said store. This has caused some fans to express their disappointment in case it becomes an exclusive. On the other hand, some thought the only affected area will be Japan.
But fans may be rejoicing now as that is has been back in Xbox Store's listing, which at least assires that it will not be removed from the said area. This also negates rumors that it will be a PlayStation exclusive and may cancel speculations for a release of a PC version. But since the developers have been mum about the official details, some are still thinking it is still plausible since Square Enix is currently focusing on PC-exclusive games.
Meanwhile, the game was also listed by EB Games Australia for Nintendo NX but was removed right away. The store quickly denied that it has been available in their listing.
For its upcoming installment, a new character is expected to be introduced. Kairi, one of Sora's friends will debut on the upcoming version which may pose a love triangle among him, Sora, and Riku. It can be noted that Riku has an interest to Sora, and Kairi, who is an upcoming character, will also be introduced to have feelings for the former.
