The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature Kairi as a rumored playable character and clarification on Nintendo NX version of the game.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a new playable character in "Kingdom Hearts 3" as gamers will likely play as Kairi in the upcoming sequel. Kairi is one of Sora's oldest friends and potential love interest as Sora often competes with Riku for her attention.
It was during the first "Kingdom Hearts" game that Kairi is one of the Princesses of Hearts that Heartless and Ansem want in order to raise Kingdom Hearts and cover the world on darknerss. Sora was able to save Kairi but with cause. Kairi returned to "Kingdom Hearts 2" as a teenager and she still waiting for both Sora and Riku to return to her life. It was revealed in "Kingdom Hearts 2" that Kairi can wield a Keyblade, thus making her a potential Keyblade master,but fans are disappointed that Kairi will not be a playable character in the second game, Mobile&Apps reported.
Gaming fans are hopeful that Square Enix could feature more playable characters besides Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3" as it was previouly hinted by game director Tetsuya Nomura that a young Xenohart and Eraqus will be playable characters in the game's prologue.
In other news, EB Games made a clarification regarding the rumored listing of a Nintendo NX version of "Kingdom Hearts 3".
It was previously reported that EB Games Australia momentarily listed "Kingdom Hearts 3" for the Nintendo NX with a placeholder of $119.95, before it was taken away from the site. Now the official Twitter page of EB Games tweeted that the item was never placed as a pre-order in their website and that someone must have used photoshop to mislead people.
EB Games added that the listed "Kingdom Hearts 3" for Nintendo NX was never put on the list nor removed from the website, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Square Enix has yet to comment on anything new regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3" as the Japanese game developers are focused on "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" which will launch on December for the PlayStatio 4 and Xbox One consoles.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
