"Big Brother" season 18 just saw the end of the last showmance on Wednesday night.
After Paul's reign as the new Head of Household (HOH), the musician decided to nominate Nicole and Corey up for eviction. Even though they were no longer surprised with Paul's move, Nicole and Corey still tried to campaign so they could stay in the house.
Unfortunately, the Power of Veto (POV) game also saw Paul winning the competition. He decided to keep the nominations the same because he knew that Corey and Nicole will always be loyal to each other. This means that if both of them stay over James, they will bring themselves to the finals without Paul.
Meanwhile, James was the only houseguest who could win to either evict Corey or Nicole. It was kind of expected that James would vote to evict Corey over Nicole because he has always been very loyal to the latter. In fact, James and Natalie's relationship almost ended after the latter told the former that if he works with Corey and Nicole, she will never talk to him again.
Before leaving the Big Brother house, Natalie and James talked to each other and agreed that James should do whatever he needs to do to land in the final two spot.
As of late, there are only three houseguests in the Big Brother house: James, Paul and Nicole. Another eviction next week will name the final 2.
"Big Brother" season 18 won't air an episode on Thursday night to give way to the NFL. Instead, the hit reality TV show will return on Sunday. The finale will take place on Wednesday night and will see the return of all nine members of the jury house.
A week after the finale, "Big Brother" will air a special fall edition that will run for 10 weeks. "Big Brother Over the Top" will still be hosted by Julie Chen, but the episodes will air online on CBS All Access.
"Big Brother" season 18's finale episode will air on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
