Four straight defending champions FC Bayern Munich (2-0-0, 6 points) will look to extend their two-game winning run as they face bottom three team FC Ingolstadt 04 (0-1-1, 1 point) at the Allianz Arena on Sep. 17, Saturday in a 2016-2017 Bundesliga season week 3 encounter.

Bayern Munich clobbered their first two opponents in the new term as new head coach Carlo Ancelotti showed that he is prepared to give the Bavarians their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Ingolstadt is still winless after two rounds in the term. The team settled for a 1-1 draw with Hamburg during their season-opener before dropping a 0-2 game to Hertha Berlin last Saturday at their home field of Audi Sportpark, ESPN reported.
Head coach Markus Kauczinski's side was shutout by Die Alte Dame's tough defense while two players from the visitors scored a goal, namely Bosnian forward Vedad Ibisevic and German striker Julian Schieber at the eighth and 86th minutes respectively.
Die Schanzer is currently one of three teams in the German top flight that has not won yet, with Schalke and Werder Bremen both opening their current campaigns with two consecutive defeats.
