If reports are anything to go by, cheaper OnePlus 4 has the power to challenge iPhone 7 smartphone.
According to reports, the company OnePlus is working on the next smartphone, the OnePlus 4.
There are speculations that the OnePlus 4 will pose a serious challenge to iPhone 7 as the Chinese company will be looking to boost its RAM and built-in storage among other feature enhancements.
OnePlus 3 smartphone, which offers a 6GB RAM, is doing good in the market. Buyers can expect an 8GB RAM and a 256GB external storage through microSD card in the next instalment. At present, iPhone 7 smartphone has a 2GB RAM.
According to reports, the OnePlus 4 smartphone will include an Optic AMOLED Display and a Snapdragon 830 processor.
The OnePlus 4 will have all the powers to challenge iPhone 7 smartphone and other players in the market. Furthermore, OnePlus 4 is expected to come with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system pre-installed.
Some reports suggest that the Android 7.0 Nougat system will be better than iOS 10 operating system.
There are reports that the smartphone will be launched in mid-2017. However, a few reports suggest that the device could be launched couple of months earlier.
The OnePlus 4 smartphone is expected to feature 23MP camera. Reports also indicate that it could cost about $400. The iPhone 7, on the other hand, begins at $649 for the 32GB entry-level variant.
Meanwhile, the online retailer eBay is selling the new, unlocked OnePlus 2 (64B) smartphone for $239.99, CNET reported.
OnePlus 2 was unveiled in July last year. According to a report from Digital Trends, the device has a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.
The OnePlus 2 smartphone sports 4GB of RAM and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. It has 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. The device has a 5 MP front shooter for selfies and a 13 MP primary camera on the rear.
It runs OxygenOS 2.0 and has a 3300mAh non removable battery. The OnePlus 2 smartphone weighs 175 grams and measures 151.80mm x 74.90mm x 9.85mm.
It is a dual SIM handset that accepts two Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include 3G, GPS, 4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Sensors on the OnePlus 2 smartphone include ambient light sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensor.
