New details and possible spoilers for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will feature a conflict the team and Justice Society of America and The Flash to have an appearance in the show.
Season 2 of "Legends of Tomorrow" will have Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his team of heroes and villains Ray Palmer/Atom (Brandon Routh), Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz), Mick Rory/ Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Prof. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh)/Firestorm become Time Masters in their own right as they will face new foes in the show.
One of the many conflicts in season 2 will involve the Justice Society of America and their fight againts a group of villains known as the Legion of Doom which consist of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). It seems that both teams will work together to stop the Legion from disrupting the timeline.
The JLA in "Legends of Tomorrow" will consist of Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Citizen Steel (Nick Zano), Vixen (Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Obsidian (Lance Henriksen) Stargirl and Dr. Mid-night.
Cast member Caity Lotz shed some light regarding how the team will interact well with JSA as she told Entertainment Weekly that her character Sara has a hard time fitting in with the group as she views them as "too perfect" and always follows the rules. Sara has been known to have hostility against authority and yet her time being a member of the League of Assassin gave her a sense of military side, which she uses if necessary during a mission.
Lotz’s comments may suggest that her team and Justice Society of America might have some issues they need settle since the JSA is well verse team, while Rip's team still needs figure out how to work together properly now that the safety of the timeline is at their hands.
In other news, "The Flash" TV series star Grant Gustin teased that his character Barry Allen could make an appearance in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.
Gustin tweeted that he just had a ADR session on "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" which is helmed by William H. Macy. "The Flash" season 3 will deal with a "Flashpoint" storyline to which Barry changed the timeline in order to save his mother, thus creating an alternate timeline.
Barry's actions in the "Flashpoint" may have serious effects on "Legends of Tomorrow" and may even lead to the four part crossover with "Arrow" and "Supergirl", Inverse reported.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will air on Oct. 13 on the CW Network.
