Apple's macOS Sierra was unveiled to the world in June through the WWDC 2016 event in June. Now, the new OS is now available to the general public. In the previous week, Apple had also released iOS 10 and watchOS.
MacOS Sierra: How to download, install and compatible devices
The final version of the macOS Seirra has been made public after releasing eight public betas and Golden Master edition. The macOS Sierra with version number 10.12 is now available on the Mac App Store. It weighs 4.77 GB in size, Pocket-Lint reported.
Alternatively, users can manually search for software update. In order to install the update, the compatible devices should have at least OS 10.7.5 (Lion) installed. The device should also have a free storage specs of 8.8 GB. The new OS is available as a free upgrade.
MacBook 2009 or higher, MacBook Air 2010 or higher, MacBook Pro 2010 or higher, iMac 2009 or higher, Mac Mini 2010 or higher and MacPro 2010 or higher are the devices on which the macOS Sierra can be installed,

The following devices can support the newly launched iOS 10:
iPhones: iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, SE, 6, 6 Plus, 5S, 5C, and 5. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available with iOS 10 pre-installed.
iPad Pro: 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro
iPads: iPad Air 2, iPad Air, and 4h generation iPad
iPad Mini: iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini 2
iPod Touch: 6th generation iPod Touch
Users should see an automatic notification on the arrival of the new software update on the aforementioned devices. If it does not show up on its own, users can manually navigate to Settings app > General > Software and Update menu. The update weighs 1.1 GB.
watchOS 3: How to download and install
Users need to first install iOS 10 on their iPad or iPhone before installing watchOS 3 on Apple Watch. Users can then look for the update by going to General > Software Update on Apple Watch. Since the installation of the update will happen over Bluetooth connection, it can take more time to install the new OS update for Apple Watch, WCCF Tech reported.
tvOS 10: How to download, install and compatible devices
tv10 is available to 4th, 3rd and 2nd generation models of Apple TV. On the fourth generation model, users need to navigate to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software to download and install tvOS 10. On the second and third generation models, users need to go to Settings > General > Update Software.
