Swansea is struggling to find wins in their last four fixtures after opening the season with a 1-0 nipping of newly-promoted side Burnley last month.

The team had been winless since then, with their most recent game last Sunday ending in a 0-1 defeat to Southampton on the road at the St. Mary's Stadium, their third loss of the term, as per the Independent.

English forward Charlie Austin netted the only goal of the game at the 64th minute for the hosts as the two clubs held on defensively before breaking the deadlock.

It was a big drop in form for head coach Francesco Guidolin's boys after the Swans was able to hold powerhouse team Chelsea to a 2-2 draw in their previous game.

Meanwhile, title-favorites Manchester City stayed perfect after five rounds of competitions with a five-game winning streak, a club record for best start to a season for the Citizens.

City's latest victim was AFC Bournemouth as head coach Pep Guardiola's men smothered the Cherries, 4-0, at the Etihad Stadium even without the suspended Sergio Agüero around, Fox Sports reported.

Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring at the 15th minute before Agüero's fill-in, Kelechi Iheanacho, doubled the lead at the 25th to take a 2-0 advantage at the break.

City continued to unleash goals in the second half, with the first one coming from winger Raheem Sterling just three minutes after the restart before midfielder Ilkay Gundogan sealed the game at the 66th to complete the four-goal haul.

Spanish forward Nolito was given a straight red card at the 86th, though, which will ban him in this game versus Swansea.

Agüero is available against the Swans, but reports are out that Guardiola will not field him yet and might wait until their next game.
