The latest details and spoilers for "Jessica Jones" season 2 may feature her inner struggle, The Punisher and possible inclusion in "Avengers: Infinity War".
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a possible guest appearance of Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) in "Jessica Jones" season 2 as die-hard comic book fans wanted to see Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) go head-to-head with the dangerous vigilante before starring in his own Netflix series, GameNGuide reported.
The Punisher made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut during "Daredevil" season 2 as he killed every criminal organization that were involved in the massacre of his family. Frank has gone toe-to-toe with Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) foiling his every plan to avenge his family and kill the people responsible, enforcing his own brand of "Justice", while the latter believes him to be insane.
Aside from The Punisher's rumored appearance, executive producer Melissa Rosenberg stated that Jessica in season 2 is not yet "cured" of her past sins, as she told Esquire that even though she has killed Kilgrave (David Tennant) at the end of season 2, her past still haunts her.
Rosenberg added that she will be involve in "The Defenders" Netflix crossover as she needs to be and she wanted to see how the show will pick Jessica after the events of the show in order to start season 2.
The plot of "Jessica Jones" season 2 might have something to do with IGH, the same company that gave Will Simpson (Wil Travel) his super powered pills and is connected to her powers. Rosenberg teased that Jessica's friendship with Trish Walker (Rachel Taylor) will be tested once again as she looks forward to see this sisterhood go to the next level.
Jessica and Trish's bond is one of the core factors within the show, as audiences will see how this bond grows from friends to being close as sisters or even more. It does not matter whether its romantic, family, friends or professionals, Jessica's rellationship with the people that she met and stayed is what makes season 2 more intereting to see.
Lastly, the Russo Brothers teased the possibility of adding the Marvel Netflix heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War" as Anthony Russo stated that they are considering everyone in the film and they wanted to surprise the audiences the best way they can.
Comic book fans will likely see the entire Defenders team including Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones), as well as The Punisher and Elektra (Elodie Yung).
There is no announcement of the release date for "Jessica Jones" season 2.
