Following a bloody Season 2 finale, viewers are eager to know the answers on the major cliffhangers when "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 returns. As per showrunner Pete Nowalk, Season 3 will premiere with a big revelation to a mystery that will be seen before the season ends.
Nowalk assured that the top two questions that viewers wanted to know, including where is Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) and who shot Wes' (Alfred Enoch) father (Adam Arkin) will be answered when "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 premieres. The new promo also revealed that not everyone is going to survive this season.
"We get to return to the mystery within our people. I won't say what that is but it's about our people and who can you trust within the group and who is against who," Nowalk told The Hollywood Reporter. "Sort of like how the first season was about Annalise and Sam, it was very personal with whether he was cheating on her and did he kill this girl.
Frank's fate is a big question this season after the Season 2 finale scene wrapped up with Keating giving a warning to Bonnie (Liza Weil) that Frank should go. Keating discovered that he was involved in the loss of her son 10 years ago. Whether it is a threat or a reminder, Nowalk assured that Frank will still be seen in the new season, adding that he is a big part of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3.
Viewers will be witnessing that someone is trying to jeopardize Annalise in the university. Several posters were plastered around the campus with Annalise's photo and the word "killer" written in blood red ink on them. The big question is who is behind this black propaganda and who is trying to put Annalise down?
"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will see Annalise's allies and enemies, TV Guide quoted Nowalk as saying. The new season will focus on the characters' relationships and their personal struggles. The showrunner added that the characters' psychological conflicts will be properly dealt in the new season.
The Keating 5 will be in their sophomore year of the law school. The timeline of the new season skipped the summer showing the class entering a new pro bono clinic. However, it will not be an easy season for the Keating 5 and the rest, including Bonnie, Frank, Annalise, Nate (Billy Brown) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora), whose life may be in danger as another bloody murder is likely to take place.
"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will air on Sept. 22, Thursday at 10 p.m. on ABC. Check out some news about the new season's mystery:
