As soon as the devilish mother, Charlotte, escaped from hell and descended to the Earth, trouble ensued which caused Lucifer's additional burden in "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 2.
According to reviews, the pilot episode of "Lucifer" Season 2 left fans craving for more; however, the show has to take a week of break to pave way for the presidential debate between Hilary Clinton (Democrat) and Donald Trump (Republican).
In the meantime, fans can get a sneak peek of what's in store for them in episode 2. According to preview officially released, episode 2 is titled "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire." Stated briefly, "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 2 will have Lucifer and his mother meet face to face as the latter pleading innocence after being involved in a murder where she becomes the prime suspect.
Accordingly, her problems ensue due to her difficulty in adjusting with her human form. In fact, she will end up partying and clubbing upon arrival on Earth. On the other hand, Lucifer will have a hard time believing his mother after the incident, thus, he opted to go with Chloe to investigate the case even more.
However, another fight seems to be brewing between Maze and Charlotte as the latter is left under the watch of the former. Unfortunately, the two did not have a pleasant encounter in hell and Charlotte seems to be looking for retribution.
Meanwhile, episode 2 will have Amenadiel realize that his powers slowly subside as he cannot control the time accordingly. So fans cannot help but speculate that he might be an additional angel to descend on Earth after all, as the preview shows a feather falling out of somewhere.
"Lucifer" Season 2's next episode will have its main cast on board, along with guest casts that includes Colin Egglesfield (Ben Wheeler), Eric Ladin (Liam Pickering), Michael Goorjian (Elliot Richards), and Daniel Edward Mora (Victor Perez).
