"Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 6 premieres Sept. 25, Sunday. Episode 1 is titled "The Saviour" and it will see the heroes' journey to the Land of Untold Stories. "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 6 opens with episode 1 fans must brace themselves for an eventful premiere. The villains will reappear, Emma will deal with a mysterious problem, and Storybrooke will be invaded by the people from the Land of Untold Stories.
ABC has released a detailed synopsis for "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 6 episode 1. According to the description of the network's official website, the heroes have a deadly face off with a new villain. Meanwhile, Emma has an epiphany. She finally figures the meaning of being "The Saviour." And while trying to break Belle's sleeping curse, Rumple enters Belle's dreamscape. He takes the help of a stranger in order to bring Belle back to consciousness.
At the same time, the heroes come together to stop Mr. Hyde. Meanwhile, people from Land of Untold Stories enter find refuge in Storybrooke. Elsewhere, Regina and Zelena bond as they become roommates.
In the meantime, fans must brace themselves for "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) Season 6 to introduce some new characters such as Jafar and Aladdin from Agrabah and Count of Monte Cristo. In a flashback sequence, Jafar comes face to face with distressed Aladdin.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT) executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz teases what happens in Season 6.
"Emma [Jennifer Morrison] and the heroes are going to have to help a whole bunch of people finish their story," reveals Kitsis.
"Some of the things that we're exploring are what is a happy ending? We're exploring fate, destiny, the future, what does that future mean? We are also really exploring the demons within ourselves. Can you just separate the darkness or is the darkness a part of us and we need to be both? We'll see Regina is literally facing herself, but I think that could apply to anyone. We know with Rumple and Gold, we know everybody has the darkness in there, demons in their past that they've come to terms with," Kitsis said.
