While Warner Bros. could be eyeing at a television actor for the James Wan-directed "Aquaman," a recent image of "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington sparked speculations. Harington who plays Jon Snow in HBO's fantasy series was spotted with Jason Momoa. The "Aquaman" actor Momoa was also in the HBO massive hit, playing Khal Drogo who already died.
DC Extended Universe' "Aquaman" is still in its early phase of production, with Geoff Johns and Will Beall currently writing its story. However, Warner Bros. has been rumored to have worked on the casting for the movie.
For instance, Michael K. Williams was said to be cast as Black Manta in August. The actor embraced the idea and none from both Warners Bros. and DCEU declared it as a false rumor.
Aside from Momoa, the confirmed cast members for the upcoming film about the Atlantis ruler are Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe who will play Mera and Nuidis Vulko. The three of them will also appear in "Justice League" set for release on Nov. 17, 2017.
Harington is still filming "Game of Thrones," which is expected to end in 2018, the year when "Aquaman" is expected to land in theaters. On the other hand, Momoa is currently filming "Justice League" in London where Harington is also filming, according to Morning News USA. While the two actors took a photo together as friends, it could be that Harington is in talks for the DECEU movie though it is unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. gave a first peek of "Justice League" during the San Diego Comic Con, according to DC. The Zack Snyder-directed film is the huge screen debut of the group of heroes which also features Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller.
The story centers on Bruce Wayne finding help from his new friend Diana Prince to face a great villain. That was after the Gotham City hero has been inspired by the selfless act of Superman and his faith in humanity was also restored. He and Wonder Woman then quickly worked to recruit a group of metahumans to save the planet from an upcoming threat.
