Although “The Girl on the Train” is a psychological thriller, actors Luke Evans and Haley Bennett has steamy naked sex scenes in the movie schedule to hit theaters on Oct. 7.
Evans shared that they were singing Broadway songs while doing the sex scenes, they got a bit drunk by sipping on some Bourbon and Cokes, causing them to be tipsy. Evans said they sang “Lion King,” but Bennett insisted it was “I am going to marry Belle” from “Beauty and the Beast” in which Evans plays Gaston in the upcoming live action adaptation of the musical, reported E! News.
He added shooting the sex scenes was not easy because it was not a comfortable situation. Evans said it was not a big deal and by the time they shot the same naked scenes the third time with a different setting, “that was the steamiest one in the shower, you just get on with it.”
The film is an adaptation from the best-selling book of author Paula Hawkins. The second female star of the movie is Emily Blunt who plays Rachel, an alcoholic with deep depression after she separated from her husband who abandoned her for another woman. Blunt says her character is not likeable which is what many films demand from women to conform to man’s feminine ideal.
Besides Bennett and Blunt, there is also Rebecca Ferguson, the third female lead of “Girl on the Train.”
