Women should stop thinking how to lose weight fast. Rather, they should focus on loving their bodies in whatever condition it is and working on how they could improve it.
Lindsay Vonn, an Olympic Alpine skier, gave that advice to women and proved her point by posing nude for a new book wearing only ski poles, reported Firsttrackonline. People magazine posted a copy of Vonn’s photo on Thursday.
She authored the book "Strong Is the New Beautiful" – a fitness motivation guidebook – which has the tagline “Embrace your natural beauty, eat clean, and harness your power,” reported People. In the book, Vonn shared her exercise routines and diet regimen. She said the book offers expert information and guidance so women could make the right choices.
The book, published by Harper Collins, is scheduled for release on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
“Strong Is the New Beautiful will inspire and motivate you–whether you’re an aspiring athlete, want to get back into shape, or are eager to up your game—to make your body stronger than ever before, inside and out,” said Harper Collins in a statement.
Vonn, 31, is an Olympic gold medal skier. She is also a four-time World Cup champion and won eight season titles in downhill discipline, five titles in super-G and three consecutive titles in the combined. In the 2010 Winter Olympics, she won the gold medal in the downhill discipline.
