Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been finally teased by the company and it shows a similar dual-camera setup for the rear which has been in the circulation of rumors for several weeks.
Playfuldroid spotted the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 teaser trailer that was posted in the Chinese website Weibo. The dual camera setup is similar to what the iPhone 7 Plus from Apple has.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Specs and Features
The rumors surrounding the device state that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will have a 5.5-inch OLED display which is brighter and clearer than most traditional LCD screens out in the market, Indian Express has learned. Another great spec is that it could come in either a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model or an 8GB RAM and 256GB variant which is already overkill even with today's flagship phones such as the Galaxy S7 Edge or the LG V20.
Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 821 SoC from Qualcomm. Of course, the specs are not yet confirmed by Xiaomi yet as the teaser only shows the physical design of the smartphone.
Since it is powered by a Qualcomm chip, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to support QuickCharge 3.0 which is useful for those who are always on the go. Xiaomi themselves have not yet confirmed the existence of the Mi Note 2 but the new teaser could already be the confirmation that everyone needs.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Release Date
The company was expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 on September 14 but that obviously did not happen which led to conclusions that the device will not be available at all, NDTV reported. Since the teaser has been leaked, it could be just several weeks before the smartphone is revealed and launched across the globe.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also expected to have a dual curved edge screen similar to Samsung's flagship smartphones and will also have a 3600mAh battery which would hopefully be enough for an all-day heavy use of the device. The company could announce something for the phone soon before the year ends.
