An article published by technologynewschina.com said that the coalition is the country's first corporate We-media alliance, which will be formed by more than 600 WeChat public accounts and official blogs from various units within Wanda Group, in addition to the other 100 providers. Tencent manages the popular Chinese chat app, WeChat.

According to Liu Mingsheng, senior president assistant of Wanda Group and initiator of Wanda We-media Alliance, they are willing to build a highly capable and valuable pool with like-minded We-media organizations as they have already found 100 such We-media organizations and formed the alliance.

The new coalition has plans to integrate Wanda's 600 We-media into the six major We-media platforms.

In a statement released on its website, Wanda Group and other eight companies also jointly announced "The Hefei Declaration of Corporate We-media," which it said will mark the new phase of we-media, a self-development led new model of social media integration and platformization. The initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the We-media ecosystem, according to the company.

The report said that Wanda will support the development of the alliance by providing special funds for it. As a benefit, members of the alliance will be given priority in new media placement orders from all companies managed by the Wanda Group.

Wanda also vowed to invest an initial 15 million yuan to support the We-media on its platform, the report said.

Meanwhile, small and medium We-media members will get assistance from the group, which will provide them with a startup capital, from 100,000 yuan to 150,000 yuan each annually.
