The wrestling world is buzzing thanks to Paul Heyman speaking for Brock Lesnar and challenging Bill Goldberg to a match. The latest rumors suggest that Goldberg will give his answer next week on Monday Night Raw but will he be face to face against The Beast?
In the recent episode of Raw, Heyman issued a challenge to Goldberg about facing his client Lesnar to rematch of their WrestleMania 20 disaster of a match. The former ECW general manager was his usual intense self that can sell a match with his words.
The rematch between Goldberg and Lesnar has been rumored for several months now but it looks like it is close to becoming a reality. According to WWE.com, the 49-year-old former WCW and WWE World Champion is coming to Raw next week to answer Lesnar and Heyman's challenge.
It has been confirmed by Goldberg himself that he will be in Denver next week on Raw and he is expected to accept the challenge. The match against Lesnar will likely take place at the Survivor Series in Toronto as the WWE looks to maximize the release of the WWE 2K17 video game.

Goldberg being on Raw next week will mark the first time he sets foot in a WWE ring since leaving the company at WrestleMania 20. Just like Lesnar, it was his last match in the WWE but he is also looking to bury the hatchet with the company.
But for those fans who cannot wait to see Lesnar and Goldberg face to face, you have to wait until the Survivor Series. According to Cageside Seats, the WWE is planning to keep the two super athletes away from each other as long as possible.
Lesnar is not expected to appear on next week's Raw in Denver but he is scheduled to appear on Raw two weeks from now in Minnesota. Even though Lesnar is living in Canada now, he has always been present on a WWE show that comes to his hometown of Minnesota.
There were several reports saying that Lesnar vs. Goldberg II will happen at WrestleMania 33 but the WWE has something different planned for both superstars. Lesnar is expected to face Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33 next year while Goldberg likely gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Nevertheless, these are just WWE rumors at the moment and should be taken with a grain of salt. Check out the video below for Heyman's official challenge to Goldberg.
