Lyanna Mormont made a huge impact after making her debut on the last season of "Game of Thrones." It has now been confirmed that the fiery young Lady of Bear Island will feature on the HBO series' upcoming seventh season.
Bella Ramsey, who plays the fearsome young girl, on the fantasy drama, had no more than a few lines on the show. However, she quickly became a favorite among "GoT" fans with her no-nonsense attitude.
As the series deviates from the books, the showrunners seem to have taken into account the positive response that Mormont's character received from fans. After all, she did go out of her way to help Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in their battle against the notorious Ramsay Bolton.
Fans will no doubt welcome Ramsey's return next season. There was a lot of speculation surrounding her role on the upcoming season, especially after Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund on the show, shared a photo of himself and Ramsey on Instagram.

It remains to be known whether the two characters will share screen space in the upcoming season, but they were last seen after Snow's victory in the "Battle of the Bastards" episode. Mormont was also the first to proclaim Ned Stark's bastard son as King of the North and she is bound to play an important role as the Northeners take on Cersei Lannister.
However, it is now official that Lady Mormont be back next season after Ramsey was pictured leaving her trailer in full costume on the "Game of Thrones" set in Ireland. The child actress was seen filming on the same day as Kit Harington, Gwendoline Christie, and Liam Cunningham, according to the fansite Watchers on the Wall.
The fansite took to Twitter to share the news. It remains to be seen whether or not Ramsey's character will be involved in surprise killings of beloved character, which "Game of Thrones" is known for.
