Marvel has been releasing superhero films ever since, though the usual story line that they produce are mostly kid friendly. Surprisingly, one of the R rated superhero film that they created became so successful, and is now rumoured to have an upcoming sequel, which is titled "Deadpool 2."
The after credit snippet during the first "Deadpool" movie gave fans hope that a sequel would be made for the film, although the clip showed nothing but Deadpool saying a lot of sassy stuff. In other words, fans are not quite sure what would the sequel all be about.
Christian Times reported that a lot of superhero characters might be introduced in "Deadpool 2." The same publication cited the possible appearance of Cable and Wolverine.
During an interview, Ryan Reynolds has been gushing about the film's sequel, and the actor has been very vocal about it. He confirmed that the time traveling mutant Cable would be featured in "Deadpool 2."
It is stated that Cable would stumble upon Wolverine after jumping from timeline to timeline, wherein both superheros would eventually cross paths with Deadpool. It is still unclear whether the trio would actually work together in the film, or if Cable and Wolverine would just have a cameo appearance.
Meanwhile, Movie News Guide reported that a new love interest might also be featured in the upcoming "Deadpool" sequel. It is rumoured that "Castle" actress Stana Katic would be playing the role of Domino in "Deadpool 2."
A lot of fans are actually excited to see the chemistry between Domino and Deadpool. Fans also think that Katic would be suitable for the role because the actress already has experience in going through some life threatening stunts.
Rumors also claims that aside from Cable, Wolverine and Domino, two more characters would be introduced in the film, who may actually serve as Deadpool's sidekick in the sequel.
It is stated that Kyle Chandler and Mackenzie Davis would also be featured in the film, though both of the actor's parties remains silent regarding this news. Even "Deadpool's" creator Rob Liefeld is still clueless about all the characters that would be introduced in "Deadpool 2."
Since it's pretty obvious that the film is still in its planning stage, fans would just have to wait a bit longer for a decent spoiler about the movie to come out.
"Deadpool 2" is believed to be released sometime in 2018.
