A limited time collaboration café with a "Persona 5" theme will be open soon, and it will be complete with themed menu items. An original postcard will also be included in each menu item.
According to the official website of Pasela Resorts Shibuya Shop, this new and limited collaboration café with the Atlus video game will open on Oct. 14 and will end on Nov. 23. The menu will contain food items that can be found in the game. It also includes the Leblanc Special Curry, which was actually made by the main protagonist in the game.
The video game themed shop will also offer character based drinks, which are all priced at $6. These drinks are all based from the Phantom Thieves and their Personas. Customers can purchase the Captain Kidd Passion Blue, Aresene Strawberry Coke, Necronomicon Kiwi Blue, Zorro Smart Mojito, Goemon Iced Citron Tea, Carmen Roseberry, Johanna High Priestess Coffee, and Milady Chardonnay Heart.
The collaborative café offers character themed soft drinks to their customers. These drinks are the Ryuji's Passion Cola, Palace Honey Toast, Protagonist's Café au Lait Float, and Yusuke's Blue Yogurt.
For each menu item, an original postcard will be included for customers to bring home with. They can also get one of eight "Persona 5" pins with each order. These small pins with detailed artwork can be won randomly with their menu item orders.
According to Rocket News, the game company wanted to compete with upcoming popular video game "Final Fantasy XV," but it was delayed. This gained a huge advantage for their video game, but they did not want to just compete on game titles now. They will now compete with the Square Enix Café themed with their upcoming video game, which had a grand opening in Akihabara.
The café is operated by Pasela, who was also Square Enix's recurring partner in restaurant ventures in the past. The operator is famous for going all out in creating character-based food and drinks. This time around, they created a new version of their honey toast dessert with a gentleman thief-style mask.
For those who want to visit the "Persona 5" Café, they can go to the Los Cabos Shibuya branch. It is located in Tokyo-to, Shibuya-ku, Jinnan 1-22-9, Pasela Resort on the second floor.
