The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 wll feature the return of Captain Cold, the first appearance of Mirror Master and Doctor Alchemy's goal in the show.
The plot synopsis for episode 4 of "The Flash" season 3 will feature the return of Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to the show along two new villains. The title of episode 4 is called "The New Rogues" as Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) team-up to stop two new metahumans Sam Scudder/Mirror Master (Grey Damon) and Rosa Dillon/Top (Ashley Rickards).
Both metahumans are looking for Captain Cold as Mirror Masters looks to settle a score with Snart. The episode will also feature Barry training Jesse on how to be a efficient superhero, but mistake from Jesse will have dire consequences, ComicBookMovie reported.
Captain Cold was last seen in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 sacrificing his life to save Rip Hunter's (Arthur Darvill) team from being killed by the Time Masters. He will also return to season 2 as a member of the "Legion Doom" along with Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher).
In other news, it seems that there new theories and clues regarding Doctor Alchemy's (Tobin Bell) goal in "The Flash" season 3. Doctor Alchemy made his debut by the end of episode one after Barry and Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash fixed "Flashpoint" and restored the timeline.
This however, lead to several consequences as Doctor Alchemy is finding several people who have become metahumans during "Flashpoint" starting with Edward Clariss/The Rival (Todd Lasance).
Executive producer Tom Helbing stated that Doctor Alchemy is using his Philosopher stone to give people powers during "Flashpoint", preparing them for something big and unforeseen during the coarse of "The Flash" season 3. elbing added that Doctor Alchemy has memories of the Flashpoint timeline, but stopped short of explaining why he was giving people their powers back as audiences will quickly learn what his true intentions along during each episode, Melty reported.
Previous reports teased that the Time Wraiths will likely return to the show and will target Barry for disrupting the timeline in "Flashpoint". The Time Wraiths were first introduced in "The Flash" season 2 and has abducted Hunter Zolomon/Zoom (Teddy Sears) due to the fact the he manipulated the Speed Force and cheated death. This also transformed him into the Black Flash as it is hinted that he will return to that form in season 3.
"The Flash" returns on Tuesday 8pm on the CW Network.
