The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a new DLC pack and Square Enix will work on the PS VR rather than the PC version of the sequel.
A new game trailer for "Final Fantasy XV" showcased a new DLC pack called "Final Fantasy XV Amazon Roadtrip", which featured several new game contents and weapons for the sequel. The Amazon Roadtrip DLC will feature a new paint design for the Regalia called the "Golden Chocobo", as well as three weapons from several "Final Fantasy" titles like Lightning Farron's Blazefire from "Final Fantasy XIII", Zidane's Mage Mashers from "Final Fantasy IX" and the Gae Bolg from "Final Fantast XIV".
In additon gamers will be doing several weekly challenges within "Final Fantasy XV" in order to unlock these three weapons such as fighting a specific number of enemies, fishing and cooking a meal, and fighting epic bosses.
There is also the Travel, Gourmand and Camera kit packs, which will launch very soon for "Final Fantasy XV", WCCFTech reported.
In other news, it seems that Square Enix may not be able to work on a PC version for "Final Fantasy XV" very soon as the game developers will likely develop features for the game in Sony's upcoming VR headset, the PlayStation VR.
Game director Hajime Tabata stated in an interview that the PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" would take more than a year to develop it as he and Square Enix wanted to provide a better version of the game for users compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
"Final Fantasy XV" PC version rumors started way back on April, when Tabata shared the idea of more sophisticated "FFXV" derivative. He added that the PC version of the sequel will have features that are unique to the platform separating it from the console versions.
Furthermore, Square Enix teased of specific DLC contents for "Final Fantasy XV" for the PS VR as Tabata stated that what gaming fans saw at the E3 2016 event was just a technical demo, but the real thing will act as an additional content for the sequel, GameNGuide reported.
Previous reports revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature Moogles as "lucky items" to help players avoid all kinds of troubles in the game, especially in difficult situations.
There is also a promotion called "Moogle Collection" to accompany Square Enix's announcement, functioning as a reward program that will give users Moogle rewards once the English and Japanese "Final Fantasy XV" Twitter accounts hit certain milestones. These rewards have yet to be revealed, but the website layout indicates there will be eight of them; seven mystery ones and a “Moogle Movie”,
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
