Perennial contenders VfL Wolfsburg (1-2-3, 6 points) will look to snap a five-game winless spell as they clash with surprise squad RB Leipzig (3-0-3, 12 points) at their home stadium of Volkswagen Arena on Sunday, Oct. 16 in a 2016-2017 Bundesliga season encounter.

Wolfsburg, who two seasons ago finished as runner-ups to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, has sharply declined in performance this season with only a win to boot after six rounds of competitions.
The team is currently at the 13th spot of the league table after they failed to earn a win in their last five matches.

Head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl's squad netted the winner seven minutes after the restart as Danish forward Yussuf Poulsen buried a left-footed strike from the left side of the box from a cross by midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
