"The Voice" Season 8 (2015) premiered on Feb. 23 with its first episode of Blind Auditions. Artists from across the country took part in the first round of the first phase of NBC's singing reality competition. Meanwhile, Coach Christina Aguilera made a return alongside coaches Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton. Last week, the four judges recruited 16 artists and the process continues this week. Here is a detailed recap for Episode 3 of "The Voice" Season 8 (2015). Read on to find out the details. The show kicked off with a performance by a 15-year-old artist named Kelsie May. She performed a song named "You're Looking Like Country and managed to impress Country coroner Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera. Kelsie May chose Team Blake.
Next up was a 32-year-old Kimberly Nicole. She sang "Nutbush City Limits." Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams hit the buttons and turned around. She picks Team Pharrell.
Nicole was followed by Michael Leier, 20. He sang "Last Kiss" and manages to get Adam Levine and Blake Shelton turnaround. He chooses Adam Levine to be his coach.
Next was 24-year-old Hannah Ellis. She sang "This One's for the Girls" and failed to get any coach hit the button. Travis Erwing, 23, sang "Say My Name." With his performance, he urged Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams to turn around. Erwing picks Pharrell Williams
He was followed by a montage of artists delivering their blind auditions. Noelle Byree is recruited on Team Pharrell, and Brenae DeBarge and James McNeice picked to join Team Adam.
Next up was Coach Adam, who performed "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John.
Sonic, 23, takes the stage next and sang "Money on My Mind." Christina and Adam turned around and she chose to be on Team Christina.
Next up performing was Ella Khorov, 17. She was unable to get recruited on any team. Jacob Rummel, 18, sang "Count on Me." Blake Shelton and Adam Levine turned around and Jacob picks to join Team Blake.
Barry Minniefield, 52, sang "Me and Mrs Jones." Coaches praised Barry. However, only Coach Adam Levine turned around.
Another montage of artists' performances was presented next. Artist named Nicolette chose Team Adam, Clinton Washington picked to join Team Christina and Matt Snook was recruited on Team Blake.
The last one to perform on "The Voice" Season 8 (2015) Episode 3 Blind Auditions was India Carney, 21. She delivered a for chair turnaround performance of "New York State of Mind." She chose to be on Team Christina.
