It would be interesting to combine the mystery thriller drama film "The Girl on the Train 2" and the zombie apocalypse horror film "Train to Busan 2." The sequel crossover film should be called "The Girl on the Train to Busan" starring Emily Blunt and Gong Yoo.

At the end of "The Girl on the Train," it was confirmed that Rachel Watson (Blunt) killed Tom Watson (Justin Theroux) in self-defense. After a year, Rachel became sober and found a new job. She still commutes on the same train she was commuting on in the beginning of the film but she now sits on the opposite side.

Written by Erin Cressida Wilson based on Paula Hawkins' novel of the same name, "The Girl on the Train" was directed by Tate Taylor and was released on Oct. 7. Among Blunt and Theroux's co-stars are Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Edgar Ramirez and Lisa Kudrow.

On the other hand, "Train to Busan" ended with the commander ordering the soldiers to shoot Seong-kyeong (Jung Yu-mi) and Su-an (Kim Su-an) who just walked through the blocked tunnel leading to Busan. However, Su-an tearfully sang a song to prove they are survivors, not zombies, so the soldiers rushed to the rescue.

Released at the Cannes Film Festival 2016 on May 13, "Train to Busan" was written by Park Joo-suk and directed by Yeon Sang-ho. Joining Gong, Jung and Kim in the cast are Ma Dong-seok, Kim Eui-sung, Choi Woo-shik and Ahn So-hee.

Just in case, "The Girl on the Train to Busan" becomes a thing, it would be better to bring Blunt's character to South Korea instead of bringing a "Train to Busan" character to the United States. Wilson and Park should still write the screenplay and decide what Rachel Watson is doing on the train to Busan and how she meets Gong's resurrected character in the crossover film.
