The search for the Legendary Pokemon characters will finally get some headway next month with word that these yet-to-be-seen critters are finally appearing on Nov. 30. The “Pokemon Go” critters are believed to be appearing at sponsored locations, something that Niantic is currently working on.
Businesses, particularly restaurants, loom as perfect spawn points for “Pokemon Go” critters who Niantic may be currently talking to. If all goes well, select establishments could end up becoming sponsored locations and sites where special “Pokemon Go” events could be held, P-Nintendo reported.
Niantic’s offer can be viewed as a tempting offer to take up though it will cost a hefty sum of 3000 EUROS. Hence, establishments who may end up taking the offer are the ones who are open to expanding their business in an effort to reel in more customers on their end.
Worth looking forward to for businesses who end up becoming “Pokemon Go” hotspots would include the spawn of up to three rare pocket monsters which can pop up on a schedule. The time when these Pokemon will appear would depend on when the partner establishment wants them to spawn.
If all goes well, this means that yet-to-be-seen rares such as Mew, MewTwo, Moltres, Articuno and Elector may finally be arriving. There is also word that Ditto will eventually be unlocked but through the use of an easter egg.
Select business groups will likely welcome the deal since it can eventually work to their advantage. This comes in the form of filling up their locations with customers, majority of which are likely to be “Pokemon Go” game addicts.
The target date to see the much-awaited Legendary Pokemon is reportedly on Nov. 30. This remains unofficial with Niantic yet to confirm as gamers look forward to what new features lie ahead for their Pokemon hunting expeditions.
The potential coming of Legendary Pokemon via sponsored locations appends previous rumors on changes expected for the hit augmented reality game. Aside from the rares, there are the PvP Gym Battles as well as adjustments needed with nest spawns reportedly changing according to a thread on Reddit.
The video gets into detail how Niantic can possibly help out businesses by turning them into sponsored PokeStops.
