China’s Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has revealed its own line of wearable high-tech gadgets during the 2015 Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.
The Chinese multi-million-dollar networking and telecommunications equipment and services company that boasts product affordability presented their premium-quality Huawei Watch.
This wearable smart gadget has a round AMOLED display at 1.4 inch with a resolution of 400x400 pixels and a 286 ppi rating.
With its sapphire glass screen, this smartwatch is designed to look more like a watch than a smartphone, unlike those created by Apple and Samsung.
According to Huawei's Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu, this Android-powered smartwatch has a heart rate monitor and a six-axis motion sensor.
Aside from the smartwatch, Huawei also unveiled two other wearable devices, namely the Talkband B2, which is an upgraded version of the mobile company's Talkband B1.
Like the Huawei Watch, the second generation of Talkband also has a six-axis motion sensor and is a combination of a wristband and Bluetooth headset device that tracks its wearer's activities.
The first generation of this gadget was introduced in last year's MWC.
Yu noted Talkband B2's "more businesslike professional design"; the product would be available for sale in April this year at 69 euros or about $190.
This gadget is available in gold, silver and black colors and has a metal bracket that was built to support the main module.
The mobile company also revealed their four-gigabyte Talkband N1 headset, which can contain up to 1,000 songs and also boasts voice call functions.
This wearable gadget would be up for sale in May this year at 119 euros or more than $133.
