The latest details and possible spoilers for "Justice League" will feature an actor playing Steppenwolf and Green Lantern's rumored appearance in the film.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possibility of Green Lantern appearing in the "Justice League" movie as it is theorized by DC All Access reporter Jason Inman that Emerald Knight could appearing the film's post-credits scene and added that he could be Hal Jordan.
However, a theory suggest that Green Lantern could be participating in the final battle in "Justice League" film joining Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in their fight against the forces of Apokalips led by Steppenwolf. It is heavily rumored that "Younger" star Dan Amboyer could be playing Green Lantern in the DC Extended Universe, but it was revealed during the Uncut version of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" that he was playing an unnamed Drone pilot.
Although his name is not mentioned, there is a chance that Amboyer's character could be Green Lantern or to be more specific Hal Jordan, MovieNewsGuide reported.
Hal Jordan is a founding member of the "Justice League" both the pre-crisis era and the New 52 era of the DC Comics. He is noticesively absent the "Justic League" movie line-up which consist of Clark Kent/Superman, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
Further more, it is previously reported that Green Lantern will officially join the League in its second movie and it is yet to determined if Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern member sent to earth or John Stewart.
In other news, it seems that the actor who could possibly play Steppenwolf in the "Justice League" movie has been revealed.
"Zero Dark Thirty" star Julian Lewis Jones has been hinted for the role of Steppenwolf as he told WalesOnline that he is not allowed to say what part is he playing during the "Justice League" movie and confidently claims that he is part of one of the most expensive productions today. Jones added that filming took place at Leavesden Studios and other locations in the U.K. and Iceland.
However, executive producer Deborah Snyder stated in a separate interview that they have not closed a deal yet with Jones for the "Justice League" movie, but hinted that they are "already close" into having him on set.
Steppenwolf will be the main villain in the "Justice League" movie as he will lead Darkseid's army onto earth.
"Justice League" movie is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while the sequel will launch on June 14, 2019.
