NBA rumors may not still be over for Derrick Rose even after the jury cleared him from the rape case he got into together with some friends. Appeal options are still being contemplated by the plaintiff's counsel, thus making fans question on whether the newly acquired New York Knicks guard would play this season or rather quit the NBA after the scandal.

Questions about the potential career move of Rose after being acquitted from the civil lawsuit is now being inquired to by some fans and commentators. Though there is still no official advice regarding his move after acquittal, some fans expressed their worries and queries via social media regarding the concern.

It is a usual trend for some celebrities to lay low after being involved in a scandalous event. And being involved in a rape case is considerably a burdensome experience that could trigger unprecedented series of events for the career or life celebrity. And with regards to the next move and future dealings of Derrick Rose, it is still shrouded with speculations and tons of NBA rumors up to now.

With the all the things happening in the background, Rose already missed five preseason games and seven practices over the two weeks civil trial. But if you would be talking to current Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek, he already has a plan for his point guard.

"I'll probably just sit with them and go over some things. I'll probably overload him with a lot of information and then when he comes in [Saturday for practice with teammates], he'll try to learn by fire," Hornacek told ESPN

Hopefully, things will work with Rose and his new team, especially that he will be dealing with another Knicks main man, Carmelo Anthony. Though some fans did not approve of his transfer to the Madison Square Garden, his experience and skills would still be a great influence and impact on the campaign of the Knicks this NBA season.

But still, though Rose has been cleared from the civil lawsuit, it is still not clear on whether this would be the court appearance of Rose, for the chances are great that appeals would be made by the lawyer of the woman complained of being raped by Rose and his friends. This is especially true when the opposing side's legal counsel accused Derrick Rose of "slut shaming," according to NYTimes.

"I think it's a shame for women, for this country, that a celebrity can come into court and slut-shame a woman like my client,'' complainant's lawyer Waukeen McCoy said.

Guess we would be hearing more NBA rumors regarding Derrick Rose and his colorful NBA career.
