Rockstar is set to return with "Red Dead Redemption 2," the newest entry in the "Red Dead" franchise. However, the biggest news for fans of the series is Rockstar's announcement of a partnership with Sony's PlayStation.
According to PlayStation's blog, PS4 players will now get access to earn exclusive content in "Red Dead Redemption 2's" vast open world. PS3's classic "Red Dead Redemption" will also be featured in the PlayStation Now service.
Created to take full advantage of PlayStation 4, "Red Dead Redemption 2' is a classic tale of America's ruthless heartland. The game's massive and atmospheric world will provide the footing of a fresh multiplayer experience bringing fans a brand new diversion.
Although no further specifics have been released about what "Red Dead Redemptions 2's" content might be, fans are already excited. The uncertainty behind the game about its open world is one of the exciting elements.
For the past two decades, Rockstar has constantly been redefining the concept of open worlds. From the record-breaking "GTA" series, the "Schoolyard Comedy Bully," the "Midnight Club" racing games, and "Red Dead Redemption," the developer has continually delivered on an unmatched level.
