"Half Life 3" confirmed release date is undoubtedly one of the highly sought information on the internet right now. Though there is still no certainty of its development, much more its arrival, still fans are hoping that game developer Valve will soon make the announcement regarding the third unfolding of "Half Life."
Since the release of "Half Life 2: Episode Two" back in 2007, fans and gaming enthusiasts have been waiting for the announcement of another sequel to the previous installation. It was known before that "HL 2" will have the third episode. However, such plan of an episode was known to be abandoned for game developer decided to work on a full sequel entitled "Half Life 3," according to HLWikia.
However, despite the constant clamor and query coming from the game's strong fan base, still, developer remains silent about the next installment of the game. And as result of such deafening silence, rumors are constantly voiced out online regarding the potential release date of "HL 3." In one of the rumors voiced in various social media platforms and discussion sites, it was highlighted that 2017 might be the release date of the said game. But, still it is baseless and lacking of merit.
Though confirmation of its release date may not be definite, similar to information regarding of its game development, some fans are still hopeful for another follow-up of the game. It cannot be helped for fans and gaming enthusiast to interpret minor details relating to their beloved video game, especially that "Half Life 3" is regarded as one of the greatest game series ever made and most anticipated game in the world, according to GameSpot.
Rumors of its upcoming release may be rooted and be traced to some references being given accidentally, impliedly, or even without malice by other media platforms and sources. Gamespot particularly highlighted the references of Steam Database relating to "Half Life 3."
Based on the report, Dota 2 included a number of intriguing files that could be interpreted as a direct reference to the highly anticipated installment. "RPG, ziplines, procedural spawning, and the controversial hl3.txt." are some of the examples of the said references. In addition to that, another rumor of "HL 3" potentially available under virtual reality or VR platform has also been reported. And such ignited another rumor of a 2017 release of "Half Life 3."
But still, all of the hints and references remains a rumor until such speculations would be complemented with substantial evidence. Guess we would just have to wait and see how these rumors will turn out in the coming months.
