Ubisoft has released a new developer diary video of "The Division" to commemorate the latest 1.4 update. Xbox One players discovered that the latest update has caused some issues when they play the game.
The latest developer diary video, which can be viewed below, tackled on the patch notes of the 1.4 update like the different fixes and new contents added. This update is currently the largest one since the video game's launching.
According to the official website of the video game, update 1.4 will have new features, UI improvements, gameplay changes, changes in activities, and many more. One of the new features added is the World Tiers, which lets level 30 players to select it. It allows them to control the level of enemy NPCs encountered and the quality of loot they will drop in the game.
The World Tiers are four in total, which ranges from Tier 1 to Tier 4. If the Tier level is higher, the gear score rewards will also be higher. Tier 2 also unlocks the Challenge difficulty and Incursions.
Since the 1.4 update, the UI has improved like a new player reporting interface was added for the convenience of the PC users. Players now have the mark as junk option when they equip mods in the game. There are numerous additions and adjustments to the UI, which makes the game more convenient for those who want to play it.
The new update made some changes to the gameplay to balance it out. One of the changes is the Time-to-kill enemy NPCs has been lowered this time around. Ubisoft also promised that the enemy AI will get many improvements with this update, which hopefully updated its difficulty.
All NPCs will now have chances to drop High-End and Gear Set items with the 1.4 update. If the enemy is tougher like the veteran or elites, they will have higher chances to drop these rare items. It has also removed the Gear Set Weighting from all activities except the Incursions mode.
According to the official forums of Ubisoft, the latest update of "The Division" is causing problems to Xbox One players. They have discovered that there were stuttering sounds heard in the Dark Zone, and it was found out that it was linked to the in game voice chat.
The game company has temporarily disabled the game voice chat for the Xbox One only as a temporary solution. The latest adjustment will not impact the native Xbox One party chat, so players can still use that. They are now working on a permanent solution for this issue.
