Microsoft has revealed a list of free games for November 2016 which both Xbox One and Xbox 360 members will access. The tech giant also revealed five new Backwards Compatibility titles among them, "Murdered: Soul Suspect" and several others.
According to Express, two of the newly added games will be available for download on Nov. 1. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can be able to download "Super Dungeon Bros" first, and later on, "Murdered: Soul Suspect" starting Nov. 16. Xbox 360 fans can download "Monkey Island" through till Nov. 15, before getting switched out on Nov. 16 for "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon" through till Nov. 30.
Gamers were given some amazing treats in October including "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" and "The Escapists" and they are hopeful that the highly demanded titles joining the free games realm will be exciting. The four games can be downloaded and played on Xbox One, thanks to the Backwards Compatibility feature.
Initially, "Murdered: Soul Suspect" was released for the Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and the PC in 2014. Since then, the Square Enix game has become a much wanted game featuring Ronan, who is on a mission of tracking down "The Bell Killer" who is a serial killer.
Ronan encounters his death caused by this murderer but he bounces back in the form of a ghost. Ronan is left with a task of finding out who is the killer, and if he manages, he will be able to join his wife, who has died earlier. Players can get the game up to Dec. 15 on Xbox One.
Unfortunately, unlike other months, there are no leaks available before the release of the new games with Gold lineup making it unclear just what will make the list. Last year, "Pneuma: Breath of Life" and "Knight Squad" were released for free during the month of November on Xbox One.
Meanwhile, according to BGR, the Xbox 360 lineup has seen a slight improvement, including "Dungeon Siege III" and "Dirt 3," however, this was before making all titles available on Xbox One, via Backwards Compatibility. Some gamers are hoping that the recent "Red Dead Redemption 2" reveal may spur Microsoft into giving it away which would prove a popular move and great timing that follows the release of the new Rockstar trailer.
Xbox notes that the mentioned titles will only be free for download by subscribers at a certain period and once the time limit runs out, fans will have to buy the titles. Experts suggest that players should get the games as early as possible to avoid having issues with downloads when the last day arrives.
