Apple continues to enjoy the upper hand with Pangu and hacker groups still unable to solve the iOS 10 riddle. With the fragmented updates that Apple has been releasing, hacker groups have opted to wait for a stable release which may be iOS 10.1.

So far, Apple has technically foiled any hope for an iOS 10 jailbreak mainly due to the problems that the operating system has been showing. The issues range from compatibility to security issues, forcing the Cupertino company to prematurely release small updates.

Though the intent of the iOS 10 updates is to render fixes, it has also frustrated hacker groups due to sudden code changes. iOS 10 has so far had three updates, the last of which was iOS 10.0.3 which has so far been keeping Apple users quiet.

Regardless, Apple is expected to roll out iOS 10.1 soon. The next version is reportedly now in its fifth beta and is likely to be under close watch by hacker groups like Pangu, Gotta Be Mobile reported.

It is believed that any iOS jailbreak has been saved for now with most waiting for a more stable OS which is the iOS 10.1. However, it remains to be seen if iOS 10.1 will be bug-free once it does become available, a key factor that has forced the hand of Apple to release small patch updates.

Also worth noting is that Apple has whittled down the room for potential jailbreaks by downsizing the versions that they would be signing. This means that downgrading to previous versions will no longer be possible, Apple Insider reported. Such has led many to think twice before updating considering the issues that iOS 10 has been returning.

There is no credible iOS 10 jailbreak out at the moment, the last working cracking being for iOS 9.3.5. There is no reliable data that can show fractions of how many are already on iOS 10, same with iOS 9. But the point here is that if ever there will be jailbreaking intentions on the part of the users, it will be only for a select few.
