Following the explosive premiere, "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 8 is set to air episode 2. The upcoming segment is titled "Today Will be Different" and it will see Damon come face to face with his family when his next target is revealed to be someone from Salvatore family. Also, Nina Dobrev's Elena Gilbert makes an appearance in the upcoming segment. Here are spoilers for episode 8X02. Read on to find out what happens next. In "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 8 episode 1, Stefan and Bonnie's attempt to bring back Damon and Enzo fail. Lacking humanity, the duo is on a killing spree. Meanwhile, Virginia managed to escape and got killed after trying to kill Seline. Caroline and others continue to look for clues about the vault monster when they discover Sirens or The Messengers of The Devil. According to Greek mythology Sirens use mind control to kill their victim.
Moving on to "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 8 episode 2. According to Spoiler TV's description of the "Today Will be Different," Damon and Enzo continue to kill innocent around them on the orders of the vault monster. However, this time Damon goes after someone Stefan has been connected to.
According to International Business Times, Damon's next target is Sarah Salvatore, their niece. In order to save Sarah, Stefan, Caroline and Bonnie head to North Carolina. Fans can expect to see a confrontation between the two Salvatore brothers.
At the same time, Bonnie tries to save Enzo. She takes some drastic measures to free Enzo of whatever is controlling his mind. Will she succeed?
Elsewhere, Alaric and Georgie come cross a mysterious symbol in the Armoury that may provide information of the creature controlling Damon and Enzo.
Meanwhile, a promo video for "The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 8 teases the events of episode 2. It gives a glimpse at Elena Gilbert in Damon's imagination. Sybil tries to find out where Damon's subconscious go when he tries to resist her. And the next shot shows Damon imagining Elena. Scroll down to watch the promo online.
The second promo as published on TV Line shows how Sybil tries to seduce Enzo. But Enzo tries to resist her temptations.
"I don't know why you're complaining," Enzo says to Sybil in the promo. "My freewill is at rock bottom. I do almost everything you say, even when I don't want to."
